Personality: Katsue is an easy going guy for the most part. He always keeps his head and is almost always planning something. He loves a good fight and he'll accept from just about anyone. But he does have a strong sense of right and wrong and will stand up for what he believes in.

Fighting Style: The Minamoto Clan developed a sword style that reflected natural, fluid movements. Conventional katana held them back so they traded the swords for custom ones that were shaped like a wave. The sword then was able to be used to its full extent. Katsue has honed his skills quite well and has almost mastered the Minamoto sword style known as
天の恵み (Heaven's Grace). He moves swiftly and quickly, keeping himself moving to prevent any openings. He uses his short sword for defense and also provokes attacks with it. After an opponents initial attack is thwarted by the short sword, Katsue brings his longer sword around (he's known for spinning) and lands vicious, yet graceful, blows to the opponent, often beating them in three movements. As he makes these three movements he mutters "Father", "Son", and "Holy Ghost."

Weapons: Katsue's longsword is named Falling Rock and his shorter one is named Running Water. They are two of three swords that his father made for his sons. The third was given to his brother; It is named Moon Song.

Background: Katsue hails from the Minamoto Clan of Japan, a famous clan that has been the subject of many a story as they had battled the rival Taira clan in the 12th century. His father is a daimyo and his mother is an ex-geisha (his father bought her freedom). Katsue has nine sisters and one brother, whom he is currently traveling with, he being the sixth born child. He is the heir to the clan and is out to prove his worth. Also, his family is one of the few that practice Christianity in Japan. They picked up the religion when Katsue's father was found on the battlefield, wounded and near death, by a European missionary. The missionary told Katsue's father that it was God who had let him live and that to thank him it would be wise to follow the Lord's path. Thus, Katsue and his younger brother started the group known as the Sons of the One King. Katsue now fights for all that is noble. He is out to prove himself as a warrior, a leader, and a Christian.
